I’m torn on Mailloux. On one hand, I firmly believe that the team should never have drafted him. On the other, his talent is undeniable and he can unquestionably help the team once he gets to the NHL (and assuming that he isn’t traded).

I feel you on that. I was in the Logan Stankoven camp during that draft, and I still feel that's the route they should have gone.

But, after seeing the way he can carve through the NZ, and shoot the puck (he registered 103MPH at London's skills comp in case anyone missed it) you have to wonder if they can develop him into a monster.

Absolutely agreed, but they will have a LOT of PR work to do if/when they bring him up!
